ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

A Field Engineer Technician Ops maintains, repairs, and installs equipment at customer locations, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction. They handle routine tasks independently, support senior engineers with complex issues, and refine processes for efficiency. They develop technical expertise in airport services, manage tools and equipment, and mentor junior technicians. Additionally, they collaborate with the Lead Field Engineer to oversee site operations and resource availability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Field Service Engineering - Install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites while ensuring safety and service quality.
  • Technical Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, providing on-site support to customers.
  • Customer Training & Support - Educate customers on equipment usage and maintenance, addressing their technical concerns.
  • Record-Keeping & Compliance - Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service visits while adhering to industry regulations.
  • Facility Maintenance - Ensure infrastructure, equipment, and systems function properly, complying with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Emergency Preparedness - Implement security measures, disaster recovery plans, and sustainability initiatives in facility management.
  • Data Stewardship - Monitor data quality, enforce governance policies, and act as a subject matter expert for data management.
  • Inventory Management - Oversee inventory of parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and replenishment.
  • Supplier Coordination - Work with suppliers to maintain inventory levels, preventing shortages and ensuring timely procurement.
  • Reporting & Analysis - Track inventory movements, analyze trends, and prepare reports to optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS:

  • Certifications: CCNA (Cisco), MCSA (Microsoft), ITIL Foundation, and other relevant vendor accreditations.
  • Technical Expertise: 3-4 years of experience in onsite support, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, and airport systems.
  • Customer Service: Proven experience working directly with external customers, delivering services per SLAs.
  • Industry Experience: Prior work in customer locations, particularly within the airport/airline industry.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled in managing customer relationships, providing technical training, and ensuring service excellence.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Experience in preparing detailed reports on inventory, data metrics, and operational performance for senior management.

Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision

In the U.S.(Hawaii), the standard base pay range for this role is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S(Hawaii). and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S(Hawaii). Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
