Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Cyber Security systems engineer for Tactical Control System, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design efforts, requirements analysis, security scanning and analysis, and Assessment and Authorization activities.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Proficient understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Standards, DoDI 8500.2 and SP 800-53, and other government security specifications and guidelines
  • Knowledge of security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection, two factor authentication, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trends
  • Must have solid Bash and Python scripting experience
  • A solid Linux Administration background with a working knowledge of systems
