The Vice President Customer Education will be responsible for the comprehensive development and execution of a customer education strategy that not only supports Infor's broader business objectives but also directly impacts revenue growth, customer success, and operational efficiency. This executive will own the financial aspects of the customer education function, including managing a P&L, driving bookings, and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in customer education within a SaaS / Cloud environment, having managed large teams; as well as a strong command over financial management, strategic planning, and performance-driven execution.
A day in the life includes:
  • Strategic Leadership & Financial Ownership: Define, implement, and execute the customer education strategy, taking full ownership of the P&L for the customer education business.
  • Revenue Growth & Optimization: Work closely with Sales, GPS, and other business units to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling education offerings.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Partner with the Customer Advisory Board, Customer Success, and Sales teams to understand evolving customer needs and success criteria.
  • Curriculum & Stakeholder Influence: Be a key stakeholder in Infor U, guiding curriculum development priorities, learning paths, and delivery modalities.
  • Financial Management & Revenue Forecasting: Provide regular financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for the customer education business. Develop and refine pricing strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of customer education professionals, including program managers, delivery managers, instructors, and learning salespeople.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement & Financial Performance: Actively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer adoption, course completion rates, satisfaction levels, and financial performance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience leader in education, training, or customer education within a high-growth SaaS environment,
  • Experience managing P&L, forecasting, and driving revenue generation strategies. Deep understanding of pricing models, bundling, and free-to-fee strategies to optimize revenue streams.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning technologies and best practices in the design, development, and delivery of education programs.
  • Experience in strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong process orientation and ability to balance financial goals with operational excellence.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing senior executives, cross-functional teams, and customers. Deliver impactful presentations.
  • Highly analytical and results-focused with a track record of using data to drive financial and operational improvements. Expertise in leveraging business intelligence tools to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experienced in automation tools to enhance educational delivery, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
