RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinic Assistant to join our growing team! As a Clinic Assistant, you will maintain the flow of a patient office visit by performing delegated medical functions in accordance with practice guidelines. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, no weekends.

**This is an add to staff position due to growth in our Vascular Team**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

50% Patient Care

• Greet and room patients.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and measure their vital signs for the office visit.
• Instruct patients on care plan and discharge instructions per provider's orders.
• Instruct patients on proper collection of urine specimens.
• Process and maintain integrity of all specimens according to established protocol.
• Document in patient chart or electronic medical record according to established protocol.
• Obtain additional medical records for patient's appointment as necessary.
  
  
• 45% - Administrative Support
• Stock and clean exam room per Clinic and Infection Control Policy.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• 5% - Other tasks as assigned

• Minimum:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One or more years direct care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT); or diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant (CMA) program

Preferred:

• Preferred experience/degree/credential 1
