Job Overview

The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst is responsible for tracking, managing, and optimizing the organization's IT assets throughout their lifecycle. ITAM Analysts ensure that the company's hardware and software assets are used efficiently, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the company's strategic goals

Key Job Responsibilities
Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintaining accurate records of all assets, both hardware and software
  • Generating and analyzing reports on asset utilization, performance, and lifecycle
  • Ensuring data integrity and security as a system of truth and action


System Analysis and Configuration

  • Evaluating system performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Customizing software settings to align with business processes
  • Ensuring integration with other systems and tools


User Support and Training

  • Offering technical support and troubleshooting issues
  • Conducting training sessions and creating user guides
  • Addressing user feedback and implementing necessary changes


Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years IT experience including proven experience in IT asset management.
  • Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with software licensing, entitlements, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, focused on process maturity and automating manual processes.
  • Preferred Skills: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
