Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software or Computer Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge secure software and computer solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for staying updated with the latest technological advancements. The candidate will work and collaborate side by side with cross-functional teams and the government technical leads to build and deploy secure solutions supporting various Government and DOD entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and test software and hardware capabilities within DOD and commercial environments with an emphasis on cyber security to ensure data protection.
  • Write, debug, and maintain software programs and applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Integrate hardware and software systems into production environments, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to provide effective and timely solutions.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS in a technical degree - e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of computer and software architectures, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, Java or SQL.
  • Experience working with both hardware and software components.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to take proactive approaches to solve problems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialization in areas such as artificial intelligence, embedded systems, or cyber security engineering.
  • Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in cyber security, computer engineering or related fields.
  • DOD Clearance (SECRET or above)
