Join Our Team as a Master Data Analyst at Epiroc!

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Master Data Analyst to join our Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data related to suppliers, the source-to-pay process, and overall purchasing activities. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth operation of the purchasing team, enhancing data governance, controlling costs, and streamlining purchasing processes.

Work Type - Remote: Thisposition is remote and open to candidates located within the United States. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:



  • Data Management:Maintain and update master data for suppliers, materials, projects, and pricing information to ensure accuracy and completeness across the purchasing system.
  • Data Integrity:Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal and external standards. Address and resolve data discrepancies and inaccuracies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure alignment of data management practices and seamless integration across systems.
  • System Maintenance:Manage and update material and supplier master records in ERP systems (such as M3; syteline, Cirtuo, Power BI, etc.) to optimize purchasing workflows.
  • Data Governance:Establish and enforce data governance standards, including naming conventions, classification, and categorization of materials and suppliers.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports and perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement within the purchasing function.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with the purchasing team to streamline processes and implement best practices for master data management.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to team members on data management processes and systems usage.



Knowledge/Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in master data management, data analysis, or purchasing operations, preferably within an ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing and procurement processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data management.



Skills and Abilities:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Certification in Data Management (e.g., CDMP) is a plus.
  • Experience with process automation tools and data analytics software.
  • Advanced with Microsoft Excel macros



Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $60,000 and $95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
