Summary

  • Inspector performs in-process/final inspections on electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, electro-optical and other mechanical, composite and integrated systems.
  • Validates compliance in accordance with prescribed company and customer requirements/specifications and may present to the customer for certification and acceptance prior to shipment.
  • Utilizes a variety of inspection instruments and gages to assist in comprehensive inspection and follows digital work instructions and redlines.
  • Work with computer applications for engineering record retention systems to obtain and accomplish inspection planning and acceptance.
  • Inspector is expected to make decisions on hardware compliance, reject non-conforming hardware, and communicate with manufacturing/quality engineering to streamline rework.
  • Inspector will stamp or otherwise approves systems and integrated systems as acceptable, obtains customer approval, and prepares and maintains paperwork and records.



Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma-No Bachelor's Degree required
  • Technical/Mechanical Certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Inspection position
  • Qualify Inspection experience
  • Mechanical Experience (M270 or HIMARS launcher experience)
  • Former Army experience desired
  • Safety Shoes required for position.
