The starting base salary range for a Dental Group Underwriter II is $45,000 to $64,000. The starting base salary range for a Dental Group Underwriter III is $55,000 to $77,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance. *This is a multi-level position with increased levels of required knowledge, education, and experience at each higher level.* Dental Group Underwriter II Overview This position is responsible for conducting risk assessments and selection of dental products for small to mid-sized market cases. The role produces rates for new groups and renewals using the company's proposal and renewal system. Additionally, the role prepares proposals and renewals based on information received from external sources using relevant software. The underwriter verifies rates on sold cases as required and completes financial exhibits following established guidelines and under the guidance of the Underwriting Manager or Supervisor.
