Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Senior Learning Data Analyst to join our Assessment & Learning Analytics team. This individual will manage cross-functional projects, streamline processes, and provide data-driven insights that support the development and implementation of Savvas Learning Company products. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes. Responsibilities Strategic Alignment and Planning Collaborate with Technology, Platform, Product, and Learning Analytics teams to design, document, implement, and manage projects and analytic solutions that improve product efficacy, operational efficiency, and impact of strategic decision-making. Manage internal and external research requirements and data requests by understanding stakeholder needs and aligning them with scalable and data analytics solutions. Maintain detailed documentation using platforms such as Confluence and Aha!, aligning the team's projects with broader product and data strategies. Data Analysis Surface Key Insights Proactively analyze data from multiple sources to answer key business questions to drive product improvement and support strategic decision-making. Define and implement data analytics and visualization solutions using appropriate tools and methods within the existing technology stack. Support analytics of digital teaching and learning products by tracking usage and engagement metrics within Realize platform using product analytics tools (e.g. Pendo). Continuously seek out new technologies and methods to enhance data quality, reporting capabilities, and stakeholder impact. Deliver Insights Create dashboards and reports that help tell a story with the data, supporting business initiatives, product performance, and user engagement insights. Execute the operational analytics strategy by delivering clear, actionable insights to internal teams and external clients. Present analysis results effectively through compelling, user-friendly visualizations tailored to stakeholder audiences. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analytics, statistics, education, business, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience managing projects and timelines in a data-driven environment. At least 2 years of experience with quantitative analysis, product data analytics, and data visualization using cloud-based databases and analytic tools (e.g., Pendo, AWS Redshift). Proficiency in data analysis languages such as R, Python, and/or SQL. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Experience working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams. Familiarity with education or assessment data is a plus, but not required. Skills Technical Project planning and task tracking (e.g. Jira, Trello, Confluence, A-Ha!). Writing and maintaining SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Writing and maintaining data manipulation and statistical analysis code in R or Python. Data visualization and reporting (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Excel). Business Communicating findings through clear reports, dashboards, or presentations. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse teams. Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to change and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and oral communication skills. Experience communicating quantitative information to technical and non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
