As a Lifeguard Coordinator, you'll oversee the daily operations of our aquatic area, ensuring the highest safety standards while providing exceptional leadership to our lifeguard team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for our members and guests.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example, enforcing safety regulations and pool rules to ensure a secure aquatic environment.
  • Actively monitor for safety hazards, respond to concerns, and be ready to implement emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Assess swimmers' skill levels and ensure participants stay within appropriate areas for their abilities.
  • Train and mentor new aquatic staff, guiding them through onboarding and orientation.
  • Oversee pool maintenance, including monitoring chemical levels, maintaining accurate pool logs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to obtain Lifeguard Instructor certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday with varied hours.
