What you'll do



  • Partner with one of our most strategic US advertisers.


  • Partner closely with other client facing teams including business development, client services, and trading teams to deliver client objectives.


  • Develop and own relationships across various client + agency teams including programmatic, media & insights, and key stakeholders at the line of business level.


  • Uncover core client business needs and challenges and communicate the value of partnering with The Trade Desk to solve them


  • Collaborate across internal stakeholders to implement new inventory, data partnerships, measurement, and custom solutions opportunities for our client's business.


  • Work closely with your manager to represent North America as part of discussions to align on global strategy & local activation.


  • Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals


  • Identify and close solution based strategic growth opportunities by understanding core client business needs and challenges.


  • Build deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and specialty functions.


Who you are



  • A proven track record in online advertising outbound sales, with a focus on the CPG vertical


  • A consultative seller with experience at a DSP, or other online advertising role, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.


  • Existing relationships with regional decision makers at major agencies and advertisers


  • Experience working across geographies with cross-functional teams


  • Experience cultivating strong client relationships at brands and agencies.


  • A team player with strong communication and organization skills. Strategic thinker and problem solver. Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability


  • Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with clients at all levels within an organization.


  • Passion for capability building, growing a partnership, and achieving shared wins with our clients.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$120,800 $221,400 USD
