B2B Social Media Manager - Foodservice Media Portfolio

About the Role

Are you an energetic and creative B2B Social Media Manager? We're looking for someone like you to drive our organic social media platforms for our Foodservice media portfolio. You'll be working with exciting brands like Nation's Restaurant News, Restaurant Business, Restaurant Hospitality, Foodservice Director, CSP, and Supermarket News.

As our Social Media Manager, you'll develop, produce, and deploy organic social media campaigns. Your goal? To boost awareness, engagement, and growth for our brands' digital portfolios.

What You'll Do

Social Media and Community Strategy & Execution (40%)

  • Create social media content and engagement plans that align with each brand's unique business objectives
  • Manage all social posting, tagging, re-sharing, and engagement across our platforms
  • Build and maintain social media calendars that support our business goals and KPIs
  • Take charge of our brand social media accounts and social listening/distribution apps
  • Set and track social media growth and engagement targets for each brand
  • Cover live and virtual events on social media, either on-site or remotely
  • Inspire creativity in our team to exceed our social media growth goals

Content Marketing & Production

  • Work closely with our Marketing and Brand leaders to create engaging social media assets
  • Use your skills in content development, copywriting, and video production to create standout content
  • Apply your knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics to optimize our social media strategy
  • Set targets for content assets and report on their progress and ROI
Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • A proven track record in social media marketing, ideally in B2B media/digital or events
  • Experience with major social platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Hands-on experience with social media listening and distribution software
  • Creative skills with Adobe Creative Suite for asset production
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • A "can-do" attitude and a desire to keep learning and problem-solving
  • Travel: ~10%
