Job Overview

The Analyst, Omni Operations Strategies supports strategies that optimize omni-channel operations and initiatives. They assist in improving the colleague and customer experience through data analysis, performance monitoring, and store support in areas such as Store Fulfillment, Order Pick Up, Returns Management, RFID, and Product & Tech Implementation. They contribute to implementing new strategies that enhance overall store efficiencies.

What You Will Do



  • Support store colleagues by addressing issues through Service Now tickets related to Store Fulfillment, Order Pick Up, Returns, RFID, and other areas as needed.
  • Partner with Customer Service on customer escalations and collaborate with store colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Analyze data related to store operations, such as workload productivity, order processing times, inventory counts, and order accuracy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate store processes, identify optimization opportunities, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide training and support to store colleagues, ensuring they understand and adhere to established procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
  • Collaborate with store managers and support teams to identify operational challenges and develop solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Macy's Technology, Logistics, and Inventory Management, to implement system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits of store processes to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to in-store fulfillment and RFID to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders to provide updates on performance, project status, and initiatives.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.


Skills You Will Need

Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations is crucial for optimizing in-store fulfillment operations.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaborating effectively with various stakeholders, including store managers, fulfillment teams, and cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail: Being detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality is important for conducting audits, developing documentation, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is required for analyzing data and generating reports.

Independence and Prioritization: The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is essential for managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and fulfillment processes is preferred, as well as staying informed about industry trends and best practices.

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
