Acara Solutions is seeking a Sales Administrative Assistant for our client, a leading manufacturers' representative in Amherst, NY! In this role, you will support the inside and outside sales departments.

We are seeking qualified candidates with:

  • Office and administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-motivated attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt when necessary!

Here's what you'll do:

  • Prepare sales quotations and project submittals.
  • Prepare and maintain pre and post bid project paperwork.
  • Effectively utilize company and vendor ERP systems.
  • Maintain both electronic files and paper files.
  • Understand and support company policies and procedures, provide exceptional customer service and align with company objectives.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects with hard deadlines simultaneously.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending industry related educational events such as training sessions, presentations, and workshops.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested, directed, or assigned.

Position Type: Direct Placement

Salary: $51,500/yr.

Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM **100% Onsite

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years' administrative experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical environment.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with an ERP/MRP system preferred.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percent, decimals, fractions).
  • Detail-orientation and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
