- Location: Evanston, IL (primary) plus outreach clinic (s) [Glenbrook Hospital; Highland Park Hospital.

Division Chief: Dr. Melissa Hogg A Brief Overview: The candidate will join a team of 30 partners in the multispecialty GI and General Surgery Division, specifically with 2 surgeons dedicated to HPB surgery. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, trauma and acute care subspecialties.The hospital system includes Evanston Hospital, Highland Park Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Skokie Hospital, and Swedish Hospital but all HPB surgery is regionalized to Evanston Hospital. The division faculty oversees Residents and Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellows through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Teaching opportunities, academic appointment, and research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.
What you will do:
- Looking for experience HPB surgeon with clinical and research interest focused on hepatic and biliary disease.
- Associate Professor or Professor level with research experience and interest to join an active HPB and robotic research program.
- Ideally, looking for surgeon with experience with robotic surgery and hepatic artery infusion pumps
What you will need:
- MD or DO required
- Fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology or other HPB fellowship
- BC/BE:
- IL medical license or pending
- DEA & Controlled Substance License

- Compensation Range: $320,000 - $600,000
