Overview
At Colliers Project Leaders we help leaders advance the built environment by assisting them to build amazing workplaces, businesses, and communities around the world. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Madison, CT preferably with K-12 experience. Seeking Project Manager candidates with five to ten years experience in the design and construction industry to join our Connecticut project management team. If you are interested in working with amazing clients in various market sectors having projects ranging from $1 million to $500 million, then please apply. Candidates with architectural or engineering bachelor degrees are highly preferrable but we will also entertain candidates with construction management degrees (or similar) that are interested in expanding their expertise into managing projects from inception through closeout. Experience in the CT public K-12 sector under the Office of Grants Administration guidelines or experience in the independent school market is ideal but not required. The ideal candidate is seeking the opportunity to lead projects and the project team but most importantly lead, manage, and assist our clients with their project goals. Excellent interpersonal skills is a requirement as well as verbal and written skills. The ideal candidate is well organized, forward thinking and prefers to be pro-active versus reactive. A majority of our work is in the education field both public and private from early education through higher education. Experience in the education sector is a plus. Responsibilities
