Principal Buyer/Planner - Acquisition Integration

About the Role:

At Boston Scientific, the Acquisition Buyer/Planner is part of the Acquisition and Integration Team. This team is responsible for onboarding the Acquisition site into BSC systems and support them through the integration process. The Buyer/Planner is expected to support run the business, identify gaps, and support the integration into BSC Core Systems. The role will requireheavy travel and/or relocationto the acquisition sites.

Your Responsibilities Includes:





  • Assess Acquisition site processes and help support gap analysis to BSC Systemsand work through solutions to support the integration process.





  • Support Run the Businessat the acquisition site working through supply chain issuesto meet demand.





  • Run What if Scenario'sas needed to support increased demand as Acquisition Site Products are added to Boston Scientific Portfolio and access to Boston Scientific Distribution Network





  • Engage in the setup and integrationof Acquisition Site master data into BSC Core systemsand ensure correct system output.





  • Support the Core Systems team in roll out of BSC Core Systems (MES, SAP, RR, Windchill)





  • Train acquisition siteto Boston Scientific processes and systems.





  • Mentor team members at the new site as required.





  • Identify areas of improvementand value-add, define, and implement efficiency enhancements.





  • Be an ambassador of Boston Scientific Culture.





  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.





  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.





  • 30-50% travel required and/or short-term relocation based on business needs.





What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:





  • BS/BA with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration Operations Management, Computer Science, IT or Engineering.





  • 8 years broad Supply Chain/Operations experience, including analytics. Has a central understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain setup and principles.





  • Experience utilizing SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, and or other Advanced Planning solutions.





  • Able to work in fast paced ever changing environment.





  • Extremely strong analysis and problem-solving skillsrequired.





  • Excellent facilitation/communication skillswith the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization





  • Strong project management, organization, and time-management skills; looks for opportunities to drive efficiency improvements.





  • Most important of all: Must be a self-motivated independent thinker who is eager and quick to learn; highly adaptable, flexible, willing to take on new challengesand champion new ideas.





Preferred Qualifications:





  • Master's Degree with emphasis in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management a plus





  • Experience working in a global Supply Chain/Operations setting at BSC





  • Expertise of BSC Purchasing & Planning processes and systems

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
