Name of Employer: Job Title: Associate Principal, Software Engineering: DevOps Location: 9111 Cypress Waters Blvd., Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75019 Duties: Monitor the performance of applications, tune the applications while working with product teams, and guide the implementation of the applications using CI/CD pipelines in the Kubernetes environment. Direct the review, configuration and execution of Terraform Ansible automation pipelines delivered by product teams. Guide the setup of common infrastructure platform like multi-region Kubernetes and Kafka cluster. Involved in DevOps migration and automation processes for build and deploy systems using GitHub, Rancher, Harness, Artifactory, AWS EC2, Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Hashicorp Vault. Manage the complete lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters and implement backup and recovery strategies in Rancher. Create a fully CI/CD process, automate build and deployment platform and coordinate code build promotions and orchestrated deployments using Jenkins and GitHub. Setup and build AWS infrastructure using various resources, VPC EC2, RDB, S3, IAM, EBS, Security Group, Auto Scaling, SES, SNS and RDS in Cloud Formation JSON templates, Route53, and Lambda. Elicit requirements for deployment of application and sizing for managing expected workload. Confer with product team leads and practitioners to create deployment plans. Confer with Architecture and Renaissance teams to devise implementation architecture. Promote standards across applications security and configurations. Collaborate with IAM/security teams on setting up roles and permissions for machines/users. Collaborate with the integration/performance testing team to leverage integrated release tested in Integration and Release Acceptance environment. Collaborate operations/enablement teams to deliver infrastructure and applications to start testing. Collaborate with product control teams on monitoring, failover and logging. Provide guidance to systems engineering and DevOps professionals for building highly performant environment. Implement infrastructure failover scenarios. Confer with the Network team on all connectivity plans and issue resolution (including between on-premises and AWS). Establish Agile program level practices for efficient collaboration and delivery. Perform deployment of applications in VM-based as well as container-based deployments. Develop documentation for ORT technical infrastructure and architecture support. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.* Education & Experience Required: Master's degree in CS, computer information systems or related and three (3) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related. In lieu of a master's degree plus three years of experience, will accept a bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in the same fields.
