Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment or three (3) years internal experience working on multiple processes and multiple product lines.
- Must pass the Intermediate Transaction Course within six (6) months of hire date.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and understand simple to complex assembly procedures and drawings.
- Ability to recognize and identify electronic components.
- Ability to recognize acceptable and defective assemblies from procedures and drawings.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge with manufacturing databases.
- Good soldering skills preferred.
- Attention to detail with the ability to enter job transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.
- Work is performed on a Manufacturing floor with exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals and some risk of electric shock.
- Use of soldering iron, oscilloscope, de-soldering iron, small hand tools, power tools and machinery.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel to assemble product.
- Clear vision at twenty (20) inches or less, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary to assemble small parts under a magnifying lamp.

Responsibilities
Summary Responsible for the efficient mechanical and electrical assembly, repair and/or rework, and final inspection of Company products and related sub-assemblies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembles standard products within established times and quality levels, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, gluing and packaging in multiple manufacturing areas.
- Repairs and/or reworks products and/or related sub-assemblies per documentation.
- Tests products within established time frames and quality standards.
- Accurately completes all paperwork relating to jobs performed, including, but not limited to, work order forms, Material Reject Reports, Inspection Reports, and stockroom requisition forms. Performs system data entry.
- Inspects products and sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance to documentation.
- Performs final product inspection before shipment.
- Assembles and tests various products in multiple areas on the production floor.
- Trains lower-level assemblers in standard product assembly procedures, assembly and rework techniques, and all job-related paperwork.
- Cleans work area(s) on a daily basis.
- Enters job transactions accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
