Sergeant, Public Safety The Curry College Public Safety Department is tasked with providing a safe and secure environment for our community members to live, learn, and work. Our department adopts a hybrid model with fully sworn and certified Campus Police Officers that work in conjunction with non-sworn civilian Public Safety Officers. Together we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Essential Functions: The Sergeant serves under the general supervision of the Lieutenant and is tasked with managing the daily operations of their respective shift. The Sergeant will supervise and oversee the Campus Police Officers and Public Safety Officers assigned to their shift and participate in the management of the Department, ensuring that the college community and its facilities are safe and secure.

Job Requirements: Essential Characteristics: The Sergeant is a first-line supervisor within the Department of Public Safety and can have a significant impact on their subordinates and peers as well as the Curry Community. Therefore, candidates should have the following characteristics to be successful.
Minimum Qualifications: The Curry College Public Safety Department is seeking candidates with previous campus law enforcement or campus public safety experience.
