Job Description Senior Director, Market Access Strategy - Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Location: Boston, MA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly) General Summary: Vertex currently operates at the forefront of rare disease scientific innovation and has successfully developed and commercialized multiple breakthrough medicines for Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Sickle Cell Disease and Transfusion-Dependent Beta Thalassemia. In addition to clinical development programs in CF, Vertex has more than a dozen ongoing research programs focused on the underlying mechanisms of other serious diseases including programs in Pain, Type 1 diabetes, IgA Nephropathy (IgAN), APOL-1 Mediated Kidney Disease, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, among others. The Sr. Director, Market Access Strategy - T1D is accountable for leading and overseeing the development of Market Access (MA) strategies, tactical support programs and overall execution of access resources across all payer channels for the commercialization of VX-880 (and future assets VX-264) for Type 1 Diabetes. This role requires a significant degree of collaboration, influencing and driving strategic alignment across multiple functions (Account Management, Trade, Pricing & Contracting, US Public Affairs, HEOR, New Product Planning, Global Value & access Strategy (GVAS), and Marketing). This role will report into the Executive Director, Market Access Strategy and Field Reimbursement. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Pay Range: $235,200 - $352,800Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
