Fitter/Fabricator 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm Pay: $26-$30/hour Job Description: Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements. Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to blueprints, BOM, written, and verbal instructions. Checks parts for accuracy, clearance and fit. Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for final welding, MIG. Select equipment and plan layout of assembly for welding. Setup welding machines based on the job at hand. Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed. Inspect items as instructed and provide feedback to management to ensure any quality defects can be avoided in the future. Maintain a clean work area, returning equipment and tools at the end of the day. Assist other departments and functions as needed.
