Job Description As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for the surveillance of the client's healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observe and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Pay: $16.50 / hour Responsibilities:
* Must maintain a level of physical and emotional health to cope with periods of high stress and working hours that may extend beyond the standard workday or week.
* Cognitive abilities must be unimpaired to deal with the intellectual demands of the position. * Ability to use PPE and adaptive equipment where work requires protective equipment and close visual/auditory attention to detail. * Movement around the building will be necessary to monitor personnel, the condition of facilities and equipment, and response to emergent situations and events. * Moderate physical effort required to physically restrain patients, respond to emergencies on upper floors without the use of an elevator, assist in patient evacuations, and respond to other emergency and non-emergency situations. Grooming/Uniform Standards: The grooming standards for this job include: * The uniform will be clean and worn properly and in a professional manner at all times the uniform is worn. Only issued uniform apparel will be worn while on duty. * The clients' identification badge will be worn at all times while on client property in accordance with client policy * Footwear worn will be slip resistant * CDC/NIOSH Hand Hygiene Standards will be adhered to at all times. * Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn as appropriate to job roles and duties performed. * The use of personal electronic devices is prohibited while on post/patrol except in designated areas specified by client policy Working Conditions: Minimum Requirements:
