The Department of Health is seeking an ambitious Fiscal Management Specialist 2 to join a dynamic team in the Bureau of Epidemiology. Your role will be crucial in supporting the management of all fiscal activities related to the bureau's operations. Your work will involve tasks such as budget preparation, grant application and status report preparation, revenue collection, expenditure monitoring, audits, budget and accounting adjustment requests, fiscal report preparation and analysis, and compliance with fiscal controls and expenditure limitations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing salary projections for grant applications and grant redirection requests. You will also play a key role in reviewing and approving procurement requests, as well as assisting in the preparation of funding packages and monitoring vendor spending. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets, running and analyzing reports, and preparing expenditure adjustments and contractual amendments. - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or
- One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
