The Manufacturing Engineer position is focused on Industrial engineering and will design, develop, test, and implement systems for managing industrial production processes including ergonomics, process and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Will focus on increasing production efficiency and process yield through people management, technology, and business organization.

How

  • Collaborate with Operational Excellence, Production Teams, and Manufacturing Engineer to construct, analyze and develop action plans from Value Stream Maps.

  • Facilitate project teams to achieve plant/department KPIs.

  • Review and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and production standard routings

  • Align with manufacturing engineering materials management to implement PFEP.

  • Collect and review data to determine action plans to achieve productivity goals.

  • Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using Lean methods and AutoCAD.

  • Estimate product costs and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.

  • Develop sampling procedures and designs to measure key performance indicators (KPI's), reporting yields, efficiencies, quality, and reliability data.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) Industrial Engineering in a relevant discipline from an accredited university, experience preferred. Candidates with exceptional relevant work experience may be considered in Iieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • Must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Six Sigma/Lean certification and/or experience

  • AutoCAD / Inventor

  • SAP

  • BOM/Routing Development
