Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production activities, including scheduling machine runs, assigning work, managing production reports, and monitoring raw material inventory. This hands-on role involves implementing policies and procedures to improve production methods, equipment reliability, operating procedures, and workplace conditions. The supervisor will be on-call and may be required to return to the plant during off-hours. Flexibility to step into various roles on the production floor as needed is essential.

Responsibilities:



  • Improve productivity while balancing quality, cost, safety, and morale
  • Identify and address hazardous conditions to prevent injuries and damage
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce costs and waste
  • Oversee employee training, coaching, and discipline as needed
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive Continuous Improvement
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and management
  • Lead efforts to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with the GM
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on production and staffing needs




Qualifications:



  • Strong safety record and leadership skills
  • At least two years of experience in the paper or packaging industry
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Proficient in problem-solving, communication, and organization
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience/training (1-3 years)
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance as needed)
