Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Servicing is seeking an experienced Investor Reporting/Reconciliations Manager to join our Servicing Division! This position will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation and distribution of Private investor (non-agency/non-gov't) portfolio performance reporting. This role is also responsible to reconcile and remit related cash flows to investors. This Manager will also ensure custodial and internal clearing accounts are reconciled to corresponding bank accounts with variances identified, aged and timely resolved. This position will ensure the Private investor reporting and remittances as well as assigned reconciliation duties are completed in compliance with investor, regulatory, government, and company guidelines.




  • Location: Onsite Daily in Englewood, CO
  • Compensation: $115-135k



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage a team of reporting professionals, providing direction, training, and performance feedback
  • Oversee and approve the timely preparation and distribution of Private investor loan activity reporting
  • Oversee and approve the process of timely reconciling expected cash flow to remittances and preparation of the remittance wire/check.
  • Manage all custodial and clearing account reconciliations and ensure reconciling items do not age greater than 30 days
  • Analyze large amounts of data and condense into Executive level analytics/monthly business performance reporting
  • Escalate to management any deficiencies, problems or concerns that might become a potential risk
  • Address investor inquiries and respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Coordinate with mortgage servicing, accounting, and finance teams to gather accurate and relevant data for investor reporting
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance investor reporting processes
  • Develop and implement documented procedures and perform an annual review/update of department policies and procedures
  • Complete special projects as assigned



Knowledge, Experience, Education Required:




  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Five to eight years of experience working in a mortgage environment, specifically in Investor Reporting and Accounting
  • Minimum 5+ years in a management role or supervisory role
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and judgement skills
  • Strong analytical skills, a rigorous attention to detail, and numeric aptitude is a must
  • Make sound decisions based upon department procedures, company policies, knowledge, and experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented
  • Ability to contribute to the department in line with the company's vision and core values, driving frequent and continual organizational change and improvement
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communicator
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Advance computer skills to include SQL, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) with an emphasis on Excel
