The selected candidate will serve as a Solution Director, leveraging industry expertise, Fortinet knowledge, and advanced technical skills. The Consulting Solution Architect (CSA) title reflects the depth of experience and proficiency required to excel in this role.

The CSA collaborates with account and customer technical teams on the largest and most strategic customers within the US SLED space. The goal of a CSA role is to capture customer leadership, aligning with business strategies to drive successful Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, and deliverables. This role ensures quality customer experience throughout their technology lifecycle, and drive business outcomes while supporting strategic execution.

Responsibilities & Organizational Interaction

The CSA's mission is to secure success in large-scale, complex customer environments ensuring high-value outcomes for Fortinet. Secondary responsibilities include enabling field teams with technical insights, best practices, and value propositions. Collaboration with account teams and other stakeholders is central to driving adoption and success. Outside of sales it is expected that the CSA develop deep and broad relationships with peers in adjacent organizations within TAC, Product Dev, CSE and others.

Required Skills



  • Independent and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Expertise in designing security infrastructure (NGFW, SASE, SDWAN, XDR, NAC, SWAT etc.)
  • Skilled in demonstrating technical capabilities of security technologies
  • Skilled and engaging public speaker experienced addressing customers, internal teams, and professional groups
  • In-depth knowledge of Fortinet's technologies and offerings



Preferred Relevant Experience & Attributes



  • One or more of the following certifications: Fortinet FCX, CISSP, SANS GIAC, CEH, or equivalent.
  • Technical writing
  • BoM development and delivery
  • RFP response experience
  • Consulting engagments



Other Requirements:



  • Travel can approach up to 40% sporadically. Travel reasons may include customer meetings, internal meetings/engagements, partner interaction, and relevant conferences, and Fortinet offices.
  • Extended hours are required on occasion to support engagements and sales motions.
