Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States, with a strategic footprint in all of the major domestic production basins. ET is a publicly traded limited partnership with core operations that include complementary natural gas midstream, intrastate and interstate transportation and storage assets; crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGL) and refined product transportation and terminalling assets; NGL fractionation; and various acquisition and marketing assets. Summary:

The Training Design Analyst will have the important responsibility of designing training in close collaboration with subject matter experts. This role will also support the administration of the learning management system (LMS.) Our team is dedicated to delivering a wide range of training, including important regulatory training, HR compliance as well as business specific procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent project management skills, and a genuine passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Design and manage the entire life cycle of the training development process
  • Apply principles of adult learning, learning methodologies, and focused instructional design approaches
  • Design eLearning content in Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, and similar solutions
  • Design and develop innovative and interactive learning materials, including user guides, PP presentations, training materials and training videos
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts and external organizations to collaborate and create a curriculum to fit training needs
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates of existing training materials to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with organizational goals
  • Create media such as voiceovers, simulations, scenarios and games to support learning outcomes
  • Assist in LMS administration, upgrades/changes, and customer service desk tickets
  • Assist with unexpected training developments, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and provide support to both customers and the team
  • Support project management, including planning, change management, monitoring, execution, and communication
  • Continuously develop useful reporting tools for Partnership management



Required Skills (External) Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Minimum of 2 years in related business experience
* 2 years of instructional design experience
* Proficient with Articulate Storyline products
* Excel in Microsoft office products suite
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage work independently and deliver timely and professional results
* Self-motivated, quick learner able to multi-task, prioritize work and adapt to a changing fast paced environment
* Ability to effectively collaborate with people of varying backgrounds and different levels in the Partnership
* High level of technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2 or more years of instructional design experience with knowledge and experience in other instructional design skills, such as animation or video adaptation
* Experience with Cornerstone SBX LMS
* Experience with Adobe Cloud Suite Program
* Experience in data analytics software (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
* Experience with HTML
* Understanding of the ADDIE training development model
* Industry knowledge and accounting experience preferred

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:



  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
