As Internal Controls Manager on the ICCC Team, your main responsibility will be leading a team and acting as a strong Internal Control first line of support and a true business partner across Nestle North America. The role requires maintaining an end-to-end perspective across Market, NBS (Nestle Business Services), and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing value-added insights and solutions through controls, leveraging business improvements and ensuring compliance. This includes utilizing Data Analytics with a strong focus on balance sheet integrity, financial-impacting risks, and risks associated with NBS's evolving scope.

Working within an ownership environment, you will provide corporate support and implement solutions and remediation actions for potential issues identified during on-site Internal Control Reviews (ICRs) and spot checks (KRIs) across factories, distribution centers, or corporate offices. Additionally, this role demands strong leadership and relationship-building skills, enabling the ICCC Manager to:

  • Effectively handle complex questions across diverse business operations.
  • Collaborate with both Market, NBS stakeholders, including Senior Management.
  • Coach and mentor experts within the ICCC team.

This role is critical in driving business improvement, maintaining compliance, and fostering collaboration across a wide range of business functions and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and act as a strong Internal Control first line of support and a true business partner across Nestle North America.
  • Provide value-added insights and solutions through controls, leveraging business improvements and ensuring compliance.
  • Utilize Data Analytics with a strong focus on balance sheet integrity, financial-impacting risks, and risks associated with NBS's evolving scope.
  • Provide corporate support and implement solutions and remediation actions for potential issues identified during on-site Internal Control Reviews (ICRs) and spot checks (KRIs) across factories, distribution centers, or corporate offices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, business administration, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in people management.
  • Strong internal controls background and a deep understanding of the consumer products industry are preferred.
  • Data Analytics knowledge, synthesizing big data in management view.
  • Familiarity with Nestle Accounting Standards (IFRS) and the ability to research complex issues is required.
  • Certification preferred: CPA; CISA; CFE; CIA or other related certifications.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
  • Solid networking skills to manage relationships with business partners.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to facilitate group discussions.
