Production Technician Avionics - Frisco Texas - Contract $23-29 Category: Manufacturing & Production Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-381231 Yoh has an exciting, contract opportunity for a Production Technician to join our Autonomous Technology client with locations across the US. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are within a commutable distance to the office in Dallas, TX (Frisco) for an onsite work environment. Title: Production Technician Compensation: $23.00-29.00/hour, depending on experience level Type: Contract - 6 months, possible renewal Industry: Autonomous Technology Responsibilities Assemble, test, and configure various aircraft systems, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), avionics, Ground Control Stations (GCS), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Ground Data Terminals (GDT), and electronics. Assist in troubleshooting, component removal/replacement, testing, and documentation in accordance with approved technical publications, maintenance standards, and procedures. Perform trimming, painting, and bodywork on UAV components. Assemble, test, and support engine ground runs and break-ins. Modify or repair composite components as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of aircraft. Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions/manuals for part fabrication. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in aircraft production/manufacturing, including but not limited to composite layup, avionics fabrication, avionics installation, aircraft final assembly, and ground support. Solid time management, organizational, and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface cooperatively with departmental personnel and customers. Strong safety work ethic, with an understanding of proper handling of hazardous materials, chemicals, tools, etc. Proficient in computer skills, including MS software programs and other relevant production-related applications. Analytical and problem-solving approach with a continual pursuit of perfection. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to departmental needs. Experience in painting and bodywork, knowledge of electrical systems installation and composite structures. Experience with drones/UAVs (preferred but not required). Airframe and Powerplant License (preferred). Familiarity with AS9100, IPC-A-620, and IPC-A-610 standards (preferred).
