As a Secure Detention Mental Health Specialist(Clinician)you will beresponsible for using evidence based treatment modalities and assessment tools to be used by the court and to develop a behavioral management plan for youth in care. The goal of the position is to implement clinical treatment plans by facilitating case management services, individual and/or family counseling sessions.

Job Description:



  • Demonstrated ability to implement evidence based clinical models
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including ability to listen, act as a role model, and ability to build therapeutic relationships, working effectively one on one with individual youth and their families
  • Demonstrated decision-making, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written, including attention to detail
  • Ability to work with an culturally and economically diverse population; must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme discretion with demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations



Job Requirements



  • LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT Required
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience working with population served
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency
  • Demonstrated skills and working knowledge of MS Office programs



Schedule



  • 10 hour shifts 4 days a week, 3 days off.
  • Sunday through Wednesday (with Thursday, Friday & Saturday OFF) OR
  • Wednesday through Saturday (with Sunday, Monday and Tuesday OFF)
  • Rotating on-call responsibilities.



Salary

The salary ranges from $67,5000 to $76,000 per year.



  • Limited Permit Clinician =$67,500
  • License Clinician + 1-year post licensure experience=$70,000
  • License Clinician + 2-year post licensure experience =$72,500
  • LicenseClinician + 5-year post licensure experience =$76,000
