Physician - Occupational Health Clinic Category: Healthcare & Medical Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-381191 Physician needed for a full-time direct hire ? opportunity with Yoh's occupational health client located in the Santa Maria, CA. *$50,000 Sign on Bonus!!!* As a Staff Physician, you will enhance the patient experience by delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You'll manage patient flow, deliver compassionate treatment, and communicate care plans effectively. Top Skills You Should Possess: MD or DO with unrestricted California license. Experience in Occupational Medicine is a plus. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment What You'll Be Doing: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, manage work restrictions, and support safe return-to-work plans. Conduct and interpret OSHA, DOT, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work exams. Order labs, imaging, and referrals; prescribe medications as necessary. Perform minor procedures such as wound care and foreign body removal. Communicate treatment plans, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients, employers, and clinical staff. Ensure a smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and minimizing wait times. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and EMR. Provide support and supervision to clinical staff, including Physician Assistants, as needed. Respond effectively to emergencies and perform stabilization when required. Uphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety protocols. Job duties may change to meet clinic needs. What You Need to Bring to the Table: MD or DO with unrestricted California license. DOT certification required (or obtain within 30 days of employment). BCLS, CPR, and AED certified; DEA and California drug licenses. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, and EMR experience.
