Overview
Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred Will consider new graduates Certification/Licensure ARRT Radiography registration required IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days Special Physical Demands The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The employee must frequently lift and/or move patients using appropriate patient transfer equipment; gait belts, Hoyer lift, hovermat, slider boards, etc. Moving (pushing, pulling) patients in wheelchairs and patient carts. Equipment- moving (pushing and pulling) portable imaging equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
