Senior Electronics Engineer

Work Schedule:

Hybrid - Buffalo, NY

Moog is hiring several Senior Electronics Engineers to support our Military Aircraft Group. These positions are located at our East Aurora, NY and Torrance, CA sites offer a hybrid work schedule.

Travel may be required up to 15% depending on business need and/or program.

The openings reflect opportunities in both design engineering and product engineering.

Here's what you will do on a day to day basis.

  • Maintain product integrity, quality, and on-time delivery in production products by collaborating with other Moog resources to resolve production problems, performing Material Review Board analyses, andassisting in evaluation for possible notice of escape to customers.

  • Understand all design principles associated with the assigned product.

  • Identify producibility and quality improvements in production assembly/test and product design. Initiate these changes andplan for schedule impacts.

  • Facilitate design changes by redlining drawings, attending Change Review Board meetings, and initiating the EngineeringChange Notices (ECN)process.

  • Develop equipment to meet production requirements for the operations department, including assembly fixtures and tools, production flow-line systems, and test equipment.

  • Track metrics including first pass yield (FPY) and product cost goals to improve company performance.

  • Initiate clear production assembly/test instructions to operations personnel, including formal Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures, Engineering Memos, Electronic Historical Record entries and ECNs.

Here's what you will need to bring with you to be considered:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant technical experience

  • Working knowledge of electronic products, including top level, sub-assemblies, and component levels

  • Working knowledge of electronics assembly and test areas, including working with technicians

  • Working knowledge of electronics test and measurement equipment

  • Experience collaborating at all levels of an organization, customers and/or suppliers

  • General knowledge in areas of Root Cause/Corrective Action, Project Planning, andData Acquisition and Analysis

The range for these roles is posted below. Actual total compensation is dependent upon location and other key factors such as years of experience and industry related experience.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $95,000.00-$165,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
