Nestle R&D Center, Inc. seeks a Engineer R&D in Marysville, Ohio

Duties: Drive the deployment and support innovation and renovation of products, processes, and systems engineering from inception through all stages of development and industrialization in the areas of Cold Coffee, Coffee Enhancers, Coffee Concentrates, Soluble Coffee and Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Beverages to build competitive advantage in the field. Develop new engineering solutions to ensure new lines are properly designed to achieve manufacturing excellence in operations, and support and lead teams for carrying out technical evaluations of suppliers and co-manufacturers. Define and develop industrial solutions of new competitive technologies. Scout new technologies with strategic suppliers. Support the markets and factories by providing engineering assistance and transfer knowledge to empower them during technical deployment. Participate and support operation improvement and sustainability initiatives. Set and maintain standards for new and existing technologies. Lead projects of development and deployment across the company and markets. Manage and monitor progress to ensure objectives are delivered on time and within budget. Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of time for business meetings. Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements:

Job requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related academic field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Research and Development (R&D) Engineer, Process Engineer, or Operations Engineer within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. Required experience must include each of the following:

• 1 year managing product innovation and renovation projects;
• 3 years working with aseptic products and processing technology;
• 3 years working with liquid or powder beverages products and processing technology;
• 5 years managing multidisciplinary team project execution and implementation;
• 5 years in the design, installation, commissioning of processing lines;
• 5 years troubleshooting methodology and applied troubleshooting of industrial processes;
• 5 years of people management (direct or indirect personnel); and
• 5 years preparing standard documentation for deployment and training.

Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of time for business meetings. Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.
