Sibley Memorial Hospital - Johns Hopkins Medicine, is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital located in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC. What You Will Do: The Nurse Educator (Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist) provides professional development and education to assist staff in preparing for contemporary practice and support in acquiring the evidence-based knowledge and skills needed to competently care for medical/surgical, intermediate care, telemetry and orthopedic patients. She/he facilitates bridging the gap between research and evidence-based practice ensuring quality and safe patient care both directly and indirectly. She/he participates in the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activities associated with comprehensive unit-based and hospital-wide nursing educational needs. What Awaits You! Salary Range: Minimum 47.93 per hour - Maximum 74.29 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
