Job Summary

The duties for this position entails unloading inbound MK loads, checking loads for accuracy, reporting inventory shortages and/or damages to Management, transferring freight from trucks to racks, picking and checking orders, labeling and loading shipments, and cycle counting. The employee will also be responsible for supporting RGA and International as needed. The position requires the ability to perform these responsibilities in a safe, accurate and timely manner in accordance with Safety policy & procedures, Quality and the principles of 5S+1, and time standards. Good attendance is required. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a Supervisor or Manager.

Job Description

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks; ability to maintain certification.
  • Valid Driver's License

Skills:

  • Regular attendance is essential along with the ability to work daily or weekly overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires sitting, walking, stooping, bending, visual acuity; the stamina to work the shift as scheduled and on a regular basis, ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility with exposure to heat and/or cold in accordance with weather conditions, lifting large, small or awkwardly shaped items on a regular or repeated basis as needed, and the physical ability to accommodate extensive use of computer or other electronic equipment.
