Position Summary:

Resilience is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing to support the marketing team in leading strategy and execution of a range of campaigns and marketing efforts to strengthen the brand reputation, awareness, and lead generation for the organization.

The marketing team at Resilience oversees external marketing communication and engagement, thought leadership, brand design, messaging and industry reputation. The Senior Marketing, Manager is responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns that maintain a consistent brand story across key modalities: Cell and Gene Therapy, Nucleic Acids, Biologics and Vaccines. He/she works with a variety of internal and external partners to create and deploy marketing programs across multiple channels including publications, advertising, sales collateral, promotions, mailings, conferences and presentations. This position also works closely with commercial development and internal franchises to translate the technical capabilities and differentiators to the market through creative design and execution. Marketing projects will support the strategic initiatives of Resilience's individual franchises and corporate strategy.

This role requires someone who can work seamlessly across different functions and franchises, to translate complex scientific knowledge into engaging content, while ensuring proper brand standards are maintained. They will work with various functions across the organization, including customer experience, digital, human resources, commercial franchise units, government affairs, finance and commercial development. The Senior Marketing, Manager will manage a marketing budget as part of his/her multi-channel marketing projects and must be able to manage multiple projects at a time as well as pivot quickly as circumstances require.

This position is remote, although traveling to visit our sites across the US as well as to conferences and events to support on-the-ground communications efforts will be necessary, up to 25 percent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and strategies to meet company needs and desired engagement across addressable markets

  • Create, implement and/or oversee campaigns that effectively communicate company capabilities and promote the company across various mediums such as brochures and other collateral, fact sheets, presentation slide decks and webinars

  • Prepares budget, yearly schedule and performance assessments for future conferences, advertising, media engagement and thought leadership, digital promotions, webinars, and campaigns related to his/her franchises

  • Oversees work of any vendors responsible for design, layout, and construction of exhibits and display graphics while also bringing the vision of the brand into marketing initiatives

  • Develop a strategic content plan to ensure timely delivery of key messages including story mining and content to both internal and external audiences; serves as a key content contributor responsible for writing/editing and distributing thought leadership content for his/her franchises

  • Create and assess content performance metrics and adapt communication approach based on results

  • Assist with internal and external events, including conferences, open houses, site events and employee celebration events as needed

  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with various members of the media and industry publications

  • Participates in and provides timely edits and approvals of materials for key opinion leaders or subject matter experts within Resilience that may present at conferences, tradeshows, and meetings

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn and understand technical and digital capabilities and translate features and benefits into comprehensive offerings for the business

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with a passion for translating complex science into relatable content

  • Experience in modern and digital marketing across paid, earned, shared, and owned content

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a demanding, deadline-oriented environment, while maintaining attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and marketing automation tools

  • Demonstrated track record in social media marketing; knowledge of biopharma/biomanufacturing industries

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, writing, communications, business or science-oriented field

  • Established contacts in media, advertising and tradeshows in the CDMO industry

  • Strong portfolio of past marketing campaigns including paid ads and SEO writing

  • This position is remote and travel may be required, up to 25%.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
