Job Posting: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Pediatric Oncology

Location: The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD

Position Type: Full-Time (0.9 FTE)

Schedule: Days, 10 and 12-hour shifts, as much as every third weekend (typically one weekend per month or less). On-call responsibility once a month or less.

Position Overview: Join the renowned Pediatric Oncology team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to pediatric oncology patients in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  Deliver high-quality care to pediatric oncology patients.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

  
  
• 
  

  Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.

  
  
• 
  

  Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing care.

  
  
• 
  

  Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as required.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification.

  
  
• 
  

  Acute Care training and certification are required.

  
  
• 
  

  Pediatric experience is highly preferred.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
