*Description*
The Billing and Coding Specialist compiles all bills and diagnosis codes. They summarize the data for submission to the billing entity and verifies the existence of the documentation, which supports billing intentions on the patient chart. The Billing and Coding Specialist analyzes and interprets patient medical records to identify and determine amount and nature of billable services. Skillset needed: Must have Hospice or SNF Medical Billing experience. Prefers Medicare or Medicaid Billing experience not required. Must have experience using Epic Knowledge of Revenue Cycle *Top Skills Details* Medical Billing, Medicare, Revenue Cycle,Collection, Medical Claim, Insurance, SNF, Epic, HOSPICE *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 100% remote work allowed and flexible hours. Starting with 8-5pm CST, but once up to speed can work with the manager on schedule. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
