Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research
    Start-up Support:
    Develop
    research materials and test databases for data collection.
  • Research
    Participant Recruitment and Engagement:
    Assist with
    implementation of study participant recruitment strategies. Carry out
    advertising and recruitment activities. Initiate and maintain contact with
    study participants. Screen and consent potential study participants.
  • Data
    Management Support:
    Maintain highly detailed and accurate
    records, monitor data quality, organize data, and prepare data for
    analyses.
  • Administrative
    Support:
    Provide administrative support for research office
    including coordinating schedules.
  • Other: Other duties
    as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge
    in human subjects research.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal skills along with strong oral and written communication
    abilities.
  • Detail
    oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Skilled
    in effectively giving and receiving feedback to foster continuous
    improvement.
  • Strong
    problem-solving abilities, dependability, and a proactive approach.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a health or research-related field or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

  • Experience with similar human subjects protocols.
  • Experience with data management and REDCap database.
  • Phlebotomy skills.
  • Experience with biospecimen collection and handling.
