Position Overview The Zhao lab at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy (https://pharmtox.ku.edu/lab/zhao) is currently seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher interested in studies of reserve and resilience mechanisms that promote brain health in aging and prevent neurodegenerative onset for sporadic Alzheimer's disease. Job Description 90% - Laboratory Research Perform research activities independently under the supervision of a faculty member Generate research reports for the preparation of publications or grant applications 10% - Laboratory Management Train graduate and undergraduate students as needed Assist in laboratory organization and record-keeping Required Qualifications PhD in neuroscience or a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience in omics or electrophysiology studies. Demonstrated productivity by publications or other evidence of scholarly achievement.
