POSITION SUMMARY In this Multimedia Photographer position, you will play a crucial part in capturing and creating compelling visual content for our fundraising, alumni, and donor engagement initiatives. You will be a creative force for developing inclusive and impactful storytelling across both print and digital platforms. In this role, you will:
- Produce, set up, shoot, and edit environmental and portrait photography for print and digital platforms, including, but not limited to, websites, social media, emails, newsletters, marketing materials, and reports. Take photos at alumni/donor events as needed (may occur outside regular work hours).
- Work on assignment as well as generating leads for visual content about gift announcements, the impact of philanthropy, alumni engagement, and marketing of alumni/donor activities.
- Contribute to the development and management of a content calendar for photography content.
- Archive images using a digital asset management system (i.e., Libris). Collaborate with University counterparts and colleagues for sharing assets and collaborations.
- Work independently and provide support for other multimedia staff on video and photography shoots.
- Organize regular photography workshops for Foundation employees to enhance their skills in capturing event photos.
- Adhere to state and Foundation policies regarding media releases. Collect and manage the archiving of signed media releases.
- Track projects using a project management system (i.e., Basecamp) and be responsible for meeting deadlines.
- Contribute to strategy for environmental photography needs and visual storytelling.
- Support Senior Multimedia Producer as needed on supporting videography needs.
- If applicable, support Creative Digital Strategy and Constituent Engagement team on graphic design projects as needed.
- Support clearly defined and strategic fundraising priorities within the campaign and articulate compelling cases to advance these priorities.
- Model and articulate the Foundation's organizational core values at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Engagement Collaborate with department and stakeholders to steward donors, engage with alumni, and support campaigns specific to your department. Leadership Provide visible leadership across the entire organization by engaging in organization-wide activities such as departmental meetings, all-staff meetings, and staff events.

- Be a creative visual content developer and storyteller with strong production skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in photo editing software (such as Adobe Creative Suite and PhotoMechanic).
- Demonstrate attention to and concern for others.
- Be able to work to the demands of the position, which requires availability on nights and weekends and may exceed a 40-hour work week.
- Must be willing to travel extensively. Reliable personal transportation is required for this position.
- Must possess a valid driver's license issued from the state in which the employee resides. Employees must maintain at their expense, automobile liability insurance coverage in the minimum amount of $500,000 or a combination of umbrella and automobile liability insurance coverage of $500,000. A certificate of automobile insurance evidencing the limit, must be provided to the Foundation at hire and annually thereafter.

- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Fine Arts, Communications degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in photography or related field. Graphic design experience preferred.
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, project management software (e.g., Basecamp), and digital asset management system (i.e., Libris). Ability to use a PC (will be issued by the Foundation).
Salary: The expected salary for this position is $65,000+. It will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also placing an emphasis on internal equity.
