Aspect Consulting (A Geosyntec Company), an earth and water resources consulting firm, is seeking a Mid-level Water Rights Permitting Specialist in our Portland, OR office (option for working remote). In this role, you will support our growing Water Rights and Water Resources practice in Oregon, on a variety of existing and upcoming projects in 2025 and beyond. Our water resources group work on projects ranging from water supply development, water supply management, water rights, hydrogeology, regulatory permitting, and source water protection. This role is a full-time, career-track position with a focus on assisting with water right investigations, water right transfers, certified water right examinations, and project and client management. This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from senior water right practitioners and integrate into an existing water rights practice. We invest in our people. You will be engaged in a wide range of permitting and technical duties within our water resources practice, with a focus on projects in Oregon State. Building on your past work experience with mentorship from our senior staff, your typical responsibilities will include:
