Production Coordinator II - 1st shift

We have an opportunity for a Production Coordinator II to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will support team members on the line. Ensure that the line is running at constant pace. Ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost control.

You will:

• Responsible for understanding and applying principles of Lean Manufacturing Principals (i.e., move least distance, move parts least distance, etc.) applying time on inspecting, preparing parts to meet production and quality standards.
• Provide feedback to continually improve the process.
• Responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.
• Communicate any problems with product or production to department lead.
• Packing small components and packaging operations.
• General labor incidental to manufacturing operations.
• Provide training, classes, tools and skills for team members to be able to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Ability to stand an and move within a production cell for up to 12 hours daily
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be a team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and understand written, visual and oral instructions.
• Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches and other power hand tools.
• High School Degree or Equivalent Preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required!

Position hours/shifts available:

• 1st shift: Start time (4:00AM)
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is:$17.88 - $33.22.At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
