Senior Manager of Professional Services

Description

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Manager of Professional Services to join our security business unit. The Director/Sr. Manager of Professional Services will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the success of our professional services team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of both IT and Physical Security and Life Safety Systems and best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the professional services team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to understand client needs and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Oversee project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Maintain a personally utilization/billable target of 25% (not a management only position)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of the professional services department
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT/Systems Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in IT and Life Safety Systems is a plus


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proven track record of managing and leading successful teams
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to travel to meet key customer engagement requirements
