Learn more at www.pavion.com Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Account Executive to join our security business unit. Primary Responsibilities:
- Adhere to current ISC-NJ policies, procedures, programs, and services
- Based on the territory covering multiple states, some travel will be necessary
- Contact and secure potential new account business through:
- Contacting and pursuit of potential clients daily
- Populating, maintain, and build a pipeline within the Sales CRM
- Preparing responses to qualified RFPs
- Developing and maintaining relationships with security consultants and A&E firms, within the new construction marketplace (GC's, Electricians, Sub-contractors, etc.), and with product manufacturers
- Representing the company at regional trade shows
- Networking within local associations and societies
- Drive wider and deeper account penetration with new and existing accounts through frequent proactive contact, expanding and maintaining strong relationships with multiple departments (facilities, loss prevention, IT, Finance, and C-level executives) and key decision makers at multiple levels within customer organizations
- Able to convey technically complex security systems and applicable services to our clients in an intelligent and articulate, yet understandable manner
- Conducts physical survey of the premises and identifies the area of security needs and concerns
- Assist in design of the security system in accordance with the needs of the prospect, and in accordance with ISC-NJ's standard practices
- Prepares and presents sales presentation and proposal to prospect using company systems, identifying features, and translating those features into benefits in a consultative and solution selling manner
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate (2 year) or Bachelor (4 year) Degree in a technical capacity is desirable
- Experience with the use of construction documents, such as: Transmittals, RFI, Specifications, Drawing Packages, and AIA Billing
- 5 years' experience engineering and installation of electronic security systems
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Holds strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and operations
- Good subcontract management skills
- Understanding of job financial reports and the ability to control costs in the handling of large projects
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Ability to function as an effective team player
- Good presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying topics on a one-on-one or group setting. Capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences
- Must be results oriented and customer focused
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor
- Maintain a good working attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality always
- Ability to adapt as the external environment and/or organization evolves
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or customers
- Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment
