Supply Chain Assistant

Supports the day-to-day compliance, reporting, communication, and administrative activities of the supply chain operation. Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors to respond to requests and questions. Assists as needed to reduce burden with department resource gaps and project work.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the company's US SEC filing with the support of legal by determining in scope supplier parts.
  • Gather vendor Conflict Mineral Reports (CMRT) from vendors, determine non-compliant vendor purchases from non-compliant smelters, evaluate sourcing risk and response.
  • USSC Scrap Execution Compliance - validate USSC network scrap approvals.
  • DC Special Buy Execution Compliance - validate purchase approvals.
  • Creation and maintenance of accurate SAP customer and vendor master data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer and vendor master data related issues impacting the business.
  • On-Call / Mileage payment coordination and reporting.
  • Invoice Accrual Reporting c) DC Metrics reporting d) Corporate Supply Chain Fixed Asset verification e) Coordinates Marketing Collateral distribution (i.e. catalogs, calendars, leave-behind books, etc.) f) Annual DC Incentive plan

Reporting:

  • On-Call / Mileage payment coordination and reporting
  • Invoice Accrual Reporting
  • DC Metrics reporting
  • Corporate Supply Chain Fixed Asset verification
  • Coordinates Marketing Collateral distribution (i.e. catalogs, calendars, leave-behind books, etc.)
  • Annual DC Incentive plan

Job Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent). Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets and formulas
  • Excellent communication skills - written / verbal.
  • SAP experience beneficial but not necessary
  • Knowledge of Conflict Minerals a plus
